What are the best safari lodges in Uganda? Most people ask me the same question and I say” what we call best is a personal experience and choice”
With over 20 safari lodges, Uganda is well known for its gorilla-filled jungles, lovely and welcoming persons, great flora and fauna in the tropical and savanna forested plains, the great Nile waterfalls, and abundant un-touristy safaris. But in just a few years back most tourists traveling in Uganda with increased demand on safari lodges,Uganda ventured into the vast development of lodges and hotels in most of the tourist destinations and major towns. This was confirmed when Visitors grew by 31 percent from 2010 to 2014, according to data from the Uganda Tourism Board.
Newly constructed, breathtaking safari lodges have come up in many of our10 national parks all with amenities you might not expect from their remote locations: Hot showers, flush toilets, and delicious restaurants with different cousins from all over the world. From deluxe tents just steps from the Nile to private safari lodges tucked into a tangle of rain forest.
