Kibale Forest National Park
Kibale Forest National Park is one in all the most attractive national parks in Uganda with a tropical rainforest, and a multiplicity of animals. Chimpanzee Tracking

Swamp Walk

Kibale national park is dominated by rainforest with tract of grassland and swamps around the Kanyanchu high forest. Kibale has a vast mixture of evergreen trees and deciduous with the ever green species being dominant. The forest is dominated with ever shade tolerant herbs, a variety of ferns, shrubs and abroad leaved forest grasses. The forest undergrowth has 351 trees species that have been registered in the park. Fort portal plateau harbors dry tropical forest (Moist semi deciduous) to the woodland and savanna along the rift valley floor.
Community Walk

The people living around Kibale National park are mostly Batooro and Bakiga. The Batooro are native to the region while the Bakiga are just immigrants from the thickly populated southern part of the country-the Ethical Heritage ancient of the Tooro kingdom.
Kanyanchu and Bigodi is a visitor’s center village situated only 5 kilometers apart on the main road to Kamwenge. This tour route takes 2-3 hours. From kanyachu or Sebitoli will set you discovering the thick forest near the villages of Kikoni, nyakalongo and nyaibanda as you do nature walks
