The 4 Days gorilla trekking trip starting in Kigali Rwanda is mainly for those that have a short time to only see the Mountain gorillas while saving a lot of time on the road to Bwindi from Entebbe. This trip presents a hustle free moment to arrive anytime in Kigali and start off the journey to Bwindi which is about -/+ 5hours drive including border crossing and taking advantage of the discounted Gorilla permit in Uganda.

Day 1: Arrival, Meet & Greet and Transfer to Nkuringo/Bwindi.
Overnight: Nkuringo Bwindi Lodge or Clouds Lodge
Day 2: The Ultimate Gorilla trekking Experience.

Day 3: Lake Mutanda Dugout Canoe & Coffee Tour

Day to day
Day 1: Arrival, Meet & Greet and Transfer to Lake Mutanda/Bwindi.
Upon Arrival at Kigali international airport kanombe, (Recommended to arrival in morning). You shall be met by our representative who doubles as the guide and driver for the 4 days trip. After a short briefing you shall transfer proceed for the City tour. You shall now visit the Gisozi genocide Museum for a tour about the 1994 Rwanda genocide. This takes about 2 hours and transfer to Lake Mutanda resort through the Cyanika boarder.

Day 2: The Ultimate Gorilla trekking Experience.
Today shall be the day for the Ultimate Gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Forest. After a Lovely and early breakfast, you shall drive to Rushaga/Nkuringo at the briefing point for the Mountain gorilla trekking this is a -/+ 2hours drive. On arrival you shall be briefed and joined by other tourists making a group of 8 then descend into the jungles in search great apes. When with them there is no mistaking the bond that exists between human and the apes while your allowed an hour’s interactions with them. The hours taken are in between 4 to 8 hours depending on where and the movement of the gorillas. Later you shall ascend back to the starting point and receive your certificate for the great trek.

Day 3: Lake Mutanda Dugout Canoe & Coffee Tour
Today shall be a day to relax a little and win off your gorilla trek memories. After a relaxed breakfast, you shall today embark on a dugout canoe ride on the lake mutanda. After visiting some of the islands, caves on the calm waters, you shall with the help of the guide canoe to the extreme end of the lake. Your guide will be there and proceed for the local experience of the Coffee tour in a home stead. Here you shall see the process of farming, peeling, roasting and taste the cup of own made coffee… It’s called the farm to Cup coffee experience. We will later transfer back to the lodge with a drive through kisoro town.

Day 4: Transfer back to Kigali Rwanda
Today we will transfer back to Kigali through Cyanika boarder with very scenic views to woow at. The drive through the virungas and the scenic hills on the musanze – Kigali road are so beautiful and rewarding. Depending on your flight, you shall be dropped at your hotel or at the airport for your Connecting flight back home.
