Day to day
Day 1: Arrival, Meet & Greet
Pickup from the airport by Perfect Safaris’ professional English speaking guide / driver on a 12 Days Great Migration safari and be taken to your hotel in Nairobi for orientation and relax.
Day 2: Lake Naivasha
You will start your trip to Lake Naivasha with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point for photos. Next, head straight to Hell’s Gate National Park for a mini safari. In the afternoon, you will visit a natural sauna before traveling to your hotel. Enjoy an evening boat ride for hippo viewing and bird watching on the shores of Lake Naivasha. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Fisherman’s Camp.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park
You will have a morning departure to Lake Nakuru National park for a special sighting of the rare black rhino (an endangered species), one of the Big Five animals. Enjoy a game drive until late, then start the drive to Naivasha for an overnight stay at Fisherman’s Camp.
Day 4: Masaai Mara National Reserve
You will have a breakfast, then start the drive to Mai Mahiu to join a group safari to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Lunch will be served on the way into Narok town. Arrival will be in the early afternoon for check-in. There will be a big tent with a bed, mosquito net, and a bathroom at the Lenchada Tourist Camp for you. After getting settled, there will be a two-hour game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve around 16:00 until late. Overnight will be at Lenchada Tourist Camp.
Day 5: Masai Mara
This day, you will have a breakfast, full day game drive to the Mara River, and a sight of the wildebeest migration. You can also join an optional visit to Maasai Village, then have a dinner and relax at the end of the day.
Day 6: Great Migration
In the middle of your 12 Days Great Migration safari.You will have an early morning game drive, be back for breakfast, then start the drive to Nairobi. You will be picked on the way so that you don’t get to the traffic jam to head to Namanga which is the border town to get ready for the Tanzania part. Your accommodation will be at Mara River Hotel.
Day 7: Manyara National Park
You will drive to Arusha and join a group to Manyara National Park. Manyara is two hours’ drive from Arusha and it is a small park that you can do game drives for two to three hours. You will have a game drive after lunch until evening. Then, you can have a dinner and relax at your camp.
Day 8: Game Drive To Serengeti NP
You will have a breakfast then leave for Serengeti. Arrive and start game drive en route to the Serengeti Katikati Camp. You will then have more game drives in the afternoon until late evening, followed by dinner.
Day 9: Full Day Serengeti National Park
You will have an early morning game drive in Serengeti until 13:00, then depart after lunch. After that, you will join a game drive en route to Ngorongoro and arrive at Samba Campsite to spend your night there and have a dinner and relax.
Day 10: Ngorongoro Game Drive
You will have a breakfast, game drive, then leave for Ngorongoro for a safari game drive with a picnic lunch. Depart after 13:00 and start to drive to Tarangire National Park. Then, have a dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 11: Arusha Game Drive
You will have a breakfast, then leave for a game drive until 13:00 and start the drive to Arusha. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Rich Hotel.
Day 12: Return To Nairobi
You will have a breakfast, and transfer to Nairobi for connecting flight back home or Hotel.
