Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

Welcome to Uganda – The pearl Of Africa for your 6 Days Gorillas & Wildlife Classic Safari. You shall be met by our Representative who also doubles as your guide for the start of your classic uganda safari. you shall start the journey to Lake Mburo National Park about 4-5 hours drive that includes breaks along the equator. The journey is full of life as you ascend through Uganda’s beautiful rolling hills and unending beautiful scenery with a unique equator stop. Most of the road is perfect and paved but the last bit to the lodge is graded road and a little bumpy. The road to the park is more less a game drive with a lot of vibrant wildlife to spectate at.

Overnight at Rwakobo Rock or Mihingo Lodge

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today after a relaxed breakfast, You shall embark on a Guided walking Safari within the park. With an armed ranger, You shall walk within the wildlife territories and have vast information about the wildlife while this activity presents a chance to watch the animals at closer range un interrupted by the car noice around them. Its surely a rewarding experience for wildlife viewing. Later we will start our next journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National park a 4-5 hours drive. We should be able to arrive at the lodge in the evening.

Overnight at Nkuringo Lodge or Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge

Day 3: Ultimate Gorilla /trekking Experience.

The awaited day is here.. Today is the day of getting upclose with the gentle Giants (Depending on Availability of permits for which group – Rushaga or nkuringo ) we will head/drive to the briefing point. The ranger guides will takeover and you shall start the trek in search for the beautiful creatures. When you finally find them and with help of a network team, you shall spend an hour with them then return. The gentle giants are sweet, gentle and a look into their eyes takes away the doubt the equal resemblance and characters that co-exist between Gorillas and man. It’s a rewarding experience. The trek takes between 4 – 8 hours depending on where the gorillas are. Return to the lodge and wind off the memories.

Overnight at Nkuringo Lodge or Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge

Day 4: Transfer to Ishasha for the Tree climbing Lions

After having taken in the Gorillas, On this day we will start our journey to The wildlife parks and today, we will drive through Bwindi to the ishasha sector a part of Queen Elizabeth national park. The journey is a rewarding drive with very great scenic views of the local rolling hills and interesting local villages.  The ishasha is known for the famous tree climbing lions. A game drive in this park in our 4×4 safari landcruiser presents a typical African safari in the Fig tree and acacia trees dotted savannah plains. There are chances to spot the tree climbing lions, buffalos, elephants, hippos, Antelopes, leopards, hyenas and a variety of bird species.

Overnight Enjojo or Ishasha wilderness camp

Day 5: Transfer to Kasenyi/ Mweya & Kazinga boat cruise

Today morning, we will start our journey in the park, to catch a glimpse of the remaining wildlife you could have missed the previous day while we drive out to Kasenyi sector for the Afternoon Boat cruise at Mweya. The journey is about 2 hours until the jetty point where the boat cruise journey Starts. Expect to see a lot of water populated wildlife including all other wildlife quenching their thirst on the hippo populated Kazinga Channel till the lake Edward. Elephants, buffalos, hippos, lions, crocodiles and many bird species are spotted at close range in a safety boat. Later you shall return to the Katara lodge, some of the best lodges with amazing sceneries.

Overnight katara Lodge/Mazike or Elephant Plains Lodge.

Day 6: Transfer back to Entebbe.

Today we will start our day with the chimpanzee trekking in the kyambura Gorge which is a 20minutes drive from the lodge. You shall be escorted with a ranger guide into the gorge in search for the chimpanzees by listening to their calls, looking at the poo and the nests made till you find them. after you find them, you shall have an hour with them and later get back to the starting point. You will then start your next journey drive to Entebbe for about 6-7 hours with a lunch stop in mbarara or Igongo. You will then proceed for your last leg of the journey to Entebbe.
