Day 1: Arrival, Kigali Genocide tour and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi/Kisoro
Welcome to East Africa, Where the journey into the wild begins. You will be met by your guide at the kanombe Airport in Kigali. After a few introductions, you shall now drive to the genocide memorial on the outscarts of Kigali city. Depending on situation, you could first have a little snack at the café as you embark on the museum tour. The museum, depicts the atrocities by the interahamwe during the 1994 genocide where over a million Tutsis and Hutus were brutalily murdered in cold blood not leaving innocent kids. This tour takes averagely two hours and should give you the whole picture about the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda. If We manage to do it on time or less, we will also visit the Belgium soldier monuments. These are the Belgium soldiers who were killed during the genocide and different monuments stand upright for each of them. We will later have lunch and proceed to drive towards katuna boarder/Cyanika Boarder and to Lake bunyonyi or Lake Mutanda

Day 2: Lake Bunyonyi/Mutanda Boat & Coffee tour and Transfer to Bwindi Forest
Today morning after a relaxed breakfast, we will embark on a short lake Bunyonyi island tour with an engine boat spectating and learning about some African culture and traditions. The lake bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa after lake Tangayika estimated at 900m deep. Its quiet a calm lake with calm waters snaking around29 traditional islands including the punishment island where young girls that got pregnant before marriage would be left starve to Death if they tried to swim back as a punishment. Later we will proceed back to the mainland for lunch and later drive to Bwindi Forest. This is a 3-4 hours journey with great scenic views to spectate at.

Day 3: The Ultimate Gorilla Trekking Uganda
Today is the most awaited day. The day for the up-close and personal with the mountain Gorillas. Depending on the available Gorilla group or family, our day will start earlier to the briefing point for the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking before you ascend into the jungles. When with the gorillas, you shall be allowed an hour with them and then return back. The hour spent with these gentle apes of Bwindi affirms the true relationship and similarity that exists between the apes and man, and definitely leave you with nothing but everlasting memories. Upon return, you shall have a de-briefing with a certificate for trekking Uganda Mountain Gorillas. Absolutely one of the amazing encounters.

Day 4: Nature walk through Bwindi & transfer to Ishasha
Today after winding up your Gorilla encounter, with packed Lunch, we will head for a walk through the Bwindi and transverse to the other side of the forest where you shall meet your driver guide. The Guided walk through the forest is enriching and constantly bonds you with nature and the feeling of walking in the gorilla bounderies is exciting. There is a lot to see including different kinds of monkeys, Birds and chances to encounter more gorillas can’t be ignored. On arrival in Buhoma side, you shall meet up with your guide and driver then transfer to Ishasha which is about 2 hours drives. With time upon arrival in the park, we will head for a game drive in search for the tree Climbing lions and more wildlife. We expect to see, elephants, lions, buffalos, antelopes, leopards, hyenas and may bird species. Later we will proceed to end our day on a sundowner on one of ishasha beautiful escarpments.

Day 5: Transfer to Kasenyi & Kazinga Boat Cruise
Today, we will have a relaxed breakfast and transfer later to kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park about 2 hours drive but within the park boundaries. We will today head for the afternoon boatcruise on the Kazinga channel with a lot of water life to see at close range. We expect to see crocodiles, buffalos, large schools of hippos, elephants and many bird species with fishing villages on the lake Edward shores.. This trip takes about 2 hours and we shall later transfer tour lodge on the kyambura escarpment.

Day 6: Game Drive & Transfer to Kibale National Park
Today is a relaxed day to enjoy the beautiful lodge as we prepared for our next destination. We will today Transfer to kibale national park about 3-4hours drive. Through the Foothills of mountain Rwenzori, we plan on having an authentic local experience with our Ugandan meal. Along the way, we will have a typical African meal, in a typical African home and in a typical African surrounding. This is for you to understand our African traditions and encounters well. Your guide will take you through the most healthy foods and their traditions as you eat away your lunch in style.. It’s the typical local authentic experience for you to adventure. Later we will drive to Kibale National park through beautiful crater lakes to spectate at.
Overnight: Turaco Tree Tops or Kyanninga Lodge
Day 7: Bigodi Swamp Walk & Chimpanzee Trekking.
Today is another day for the monkey business but especially trekking down humans closest relatives_ The Chimpanzees. After a relaxed breakfast, we will embark on a relaxed 2 -3 hours swamp walk in the bigodi wetlands. We do expect to see a lot of active different monkey species and a lot of endemic but beautiful birds and plants. Later you will get back to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon; you shall embark in search for the Chimpanzees in the kibale forest. With a ranger guide, you shall penetrate the rainforest in search of the chimpanzees listening to their calls, nests, and fresh paths. This takes about 3-4 hours depending on where and how long you take to find the chimps. After an hour of viewing them you shall return to the lodge and sip away the day on a campfire or seeing the sun go down.

Day 8: Transfer back to kampala/Entebbe
Today we will start a relaxed journey to Kampala Entebbe depending on your flight details. The journey to Kampala takes about 5 hours with a lot of Ugandan life and sceneries to spectate at. We anticipate on having a picnic lunch along the way as we drive back to Kampala/Entebbe either to your hotel or for your connecting flight back home
