Turkish Airlines also operates flights between Istanbul, Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro. Oman Air flies to Dar via Muscat and then on to Zanzibar. Qatar and British Airways connect Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar to Doha. Uganda Airlines and Rwandair have daily connections through east africa

Although most Tanzania safari trips are trouble-free, violent and armed crime exists. There are very few or even no victims of mugging and bag snatching (especially by passing cars or motorbikes) and armed robbery outside the big cities.

At no point during your Tanzania trip will we leave you alone unless you choose to be. Your private safari driver and guide will pick you up from the airport and chauffeur you during your trip, and they’ll ensure that you have safely boarded your flight back home at the safari’s end. Basically, you’ll always have someone with you who knows the country (or lodge surroundings) intimately so that they can keep you safe.

Your travel doctor can advise you on which drugs to take and when to prevent malaria infections.
