Day 1: Arrival at Kigali international airport.
Day 2: Flight to Akagera National park
Day 3: Game drive in Akagera National Park
Day 4: Flight to Volcano National Park
Day 5: Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes:
Day 6: Transfer back to Kigali airport for your flight back home
ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali international airport.
Meet the company representative and transfer you to the hotel in Kigali: Overnight stay at Kigali Serena Hotel: meal plan Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Flight to Akagera National park.
Depending on the time of the flight, you may have a city tour in Kigali before heading to Akagera: Overnight stay at Ruzizi Tented camp. meal plan Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Game drive in Akagera National Park
In the morning after breakfast, head for a game drive in Akagera National Park, the park is so rewarding and expect to see the big five here, antelopes, different bird species and etc. Overnight stay at Ruzizi Tented camp: Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Flight to Volcano National Park
On this day, have a domestic flight and connect to Volcano National Park: Overnight stay at Virunga lodge: meal plan Breakfast, lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes:
In the morning head to the park headquarter for briefing and then after enter the forest on foot to look for Mountain gorillas, they live in groups or family and 8 visitors are allowed to visit per day per gorilla family. Overnight stay at Virunga Lodge: meal plan. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 6: Transfer back to Kigali airport for your flight back home
In the morning, embark on your safari jeep and the guide drives you to Kigali airport for your flight back home. Its approx. 2 hours drive to the airport. From there connect to the flight back home.
