Day 1: Arrival at Kigali international airport.
Day 2:City tour in Kigali-Flight to Nyungwe National Park
Day 3:Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe-Canopy walk.
Day 4:Nature walk (water fall)
Day 5:Flight to Volcano National Park
Day 6:Gorilla Tracking in Volcano National Park
Day 7:Golden monkey Tracking -Ibyiwachu cultural village
Day 8:Transfer back to Kigali
ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali international airport.
Meet our company representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Kigali: Overnight stay at Kigali Marriott. Meal plan, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: City tour in Kigali-Flight to Nyungwe National Park
In the morning after a healthy breakfast in the hotel, have a short tour around Kigali where you will visit Gisozi genocide memorial and then after board a domestic flight to Nyungwe National Park: Overnight stay at One and only Nyungwe House. Meal plan, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe-Canopy walk.
In the morning assemble at the briefing point about the does and don’ts and then enter the forest to track the close relatives of Humans. Followed by experienced guides and rangers, you will encounter chimpanzees in their nature environment. Take photos for memories. After lunch at the hotel, go for canopy walk in the forest, this involves walking on a raised platform and view attractions from above. Overnight stay at One and only Nyungwe House. Meal plan, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Nature walk (water fall)
In the morning after breakfast, go for nature walk in Nyungwe which is a great forest contiguous with kibira National Park of Burundi. The water fall trail is so rewarding with attractions like water fall, different bird species, different plants and etc. Overnight stay at One and only Nyungwe House. Meal plan, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Flight to Volcano National Park
On this day, board a domestic flight and connect to Volcano National Park: Overnight stay at Bisate wilderness lodge. Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 6: Gorilla Tracking in Volcano National Park
Very early in the morning, assemble at the park headquarter and be allocated the gorilla family. The guides will also brief you about the does and don’ts. After enter in the forest in search for the Mountain gorillas, the experience is life time and memorable. Return and relax at the Lodge: Overnight stay at Bisate Wilderness lodge. Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 7: Golden monkey Tracking -Ibyiwachu cultural village
In the morning return to the same park and encounter another endangered species, the Golden monkeys, they are unique with their Golden color, and so active, watch them as you follow. After enjoying a hot lunch at the hotel, go for Ibyiwachu cultural village and learn more about Kinyarwanda culture. Overnight stay at Bisate Wilderness Lodge: Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 8: Transfer back to Kigali
In the morning, your driver guide will drive you to Kigali international airport for your flight back home
